My busiest months for grad portraits are April and May, so I recommend getting in touch with me at least 4 weeks in advance of the date you’d like to book. Though I can’t always guarantee last-minute availability, I encourage you to reach out anyway! Sometimes new spots open up in my calendar, or at the very least I can help you find local photographers who may be available.

Once I’ve finished editing the images from our shoot, you’ll receive an email invite to your private photo gallery! There, you’ll be able to view and download your photos from any device. You’ll also have access to my online print shop with professional-grade print products.

Turnaround time for final photo galleries is 2 weeks in April, and 2-3 weeks in May. However, I always give my graduates a sneak peek of photos so they’re able to share something with friends/family during commencement season! Sneak peeks are sent out a few days after the photo session, and include around 5 photos.

Absolutely! I’ll talk you through the session while giving you space to be yourself and settle into the environment. We’ll get a good mix of poses and movements: anything from simple sitting/standing to more dynamic prompts like walking toward the camera or tossing your grad cap in the air.

That being said, my sessions work best for graduates who value capturing their personality over achieving perfectly posed images. The best portraits usually happen when we take the time to get to know each other, let go, and have fun! Frankly, if you anticipate very traditional, flawless, heavily-posed portraits, we might not be a good fit.
