My first proper beach senior session! This shoot was pretty atypical for me for a couple reasons:

1. I’d never done senior portraits by the ocean before! Because most of the locations I shoot at are in the Metrowest and Greater Boston areas, I haven’t receive much interest in beach shoots until now.

2. We met around 11:00am, which can be challenging at a location like this one that has little to no shade. But we made it work!

I hope to do more shoots here in the future :)

This past season of senior photos, I spent more time at the Public Garden than any other year! I completely get why so many seniors want to have their photos taken here. It’s so serene all year round ☺️

Last year’s senior portrait season was a memorable one — partly because I had the opportunity to do so many added family photos!

When Mariyah first reached out to me, she told me how important her family and friends are to her as she works through her last year of high school, and that she couldn’t imagine getting her senior photos taken without including those who’ve supported her along the way. 

Although it was quite cold that afternoon, we got lucky with some gorgeous golden sunlight 🥰☀️
