Fans lined up outside Paradise Rock Club last Friday, May 10th, eagerly awaiting the funky, psychedelic sounds of the LA-based band Chicano Batman. Boston was the 17th stop on their long U.S. tour after the release of their latest album titled ‘Notebook Fantasy,’ which has already received high praise from The Recording Academy, Billboard, and Alternative Press.

It had been a while since I was last at @millishigh, but I visited a few weeks ago after @thidavanh.an booked me to photograph her senior project — a cultural concert showcasing 6 dance/musical acts and 10+ nationalities 🌏

This is more my parents’ music than mine, although I’ve adopted a handful of songs as I’ve grown older. It’s always heartwarming to attend a show with fans reliving memories of their youth.

I couldn’t bring my usual camera (nor film) this time, but I did get some decent stuff with a point and shoot! (Shot on Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX300.)
