Marley Dias’s Harvard Grad Portraits (Part 1)

It was an absolute delight getting to work with @iammarleydias this spring!

Marley is a lifelong advocate for literacy, representation, and making sure the next generation can see themselves reflected in the stories they read. She launched the #1000BlackGirlBooks campaign at just 11 years old, and since then she’s authored a bestselling book, was listed in Forbes 30 Under 30, and continues to use her platform to help build a better future through storytelling and activism.

Truly an honor to photograph someone whose work has inspired so many, and to play a small part in helping her document her graduation from Harvard :)

Splitting up this shoot into 2 parts because there are simply too many photos I want to share!
