Creative Harvard Grad Portraits w/ Alex Alvarez

Some of the best photo sessions are those where there’s mutual encouragement to try something new. That’s exactly why I loved this one with Alex!

If you’ve been following me since the start of my photography career, you might remember the cloned self-portraits I used to make. I had a lot of fun tapping back into that technique when Alex suggested we try some shutter drag / motion portraits!

Thank you again, Alex 🌟

“Initially, I was looking for photographers in Boston to help me capture my graduation — a momentous occasion for me. When I came across your portfolio, I was impressed by the variety of photos, from concerts to individual photoshoots, and all were great!

On the day of the shoot, I felt comfortable enough to share some ideas and to pose for the camera. Your patience was also greatly appreciated, as I was with my parents, who aren't as familiar with professional photoshoots. I also appreciated the concepts and prismatic play with the prop; I thought that added a great touch! The photos are edited, but the light balance and saturation are true to the eye and not overly done.

Overall, you helped me immortalize a significant milestone. Thank you!!”
